Waterwise has welcomed the Government’s announcement yesterday that it will regulate for dual-flush or low-flush toilets to be standard in houses, and its new draft Code for Sustainable Homes which contains a significant increase in the water efficiency standards for new houses.
11 October 2005: Poll shows positive customer response to drought warnings
A recent MORI poll conducted jointly by Waterwise and Water UK shows that customers have responded positively to drought warnings. The vast majority of customers are complying with the restrictions and almost 90% are going even further and are trying to reduce consumption in the home as well as the garden.
