Reducing Water Wastage in the UK

Although Waterwise receives its core funding from the water industry, it has an independent Board drawn from Government, regulators, academia, industry, NGOs and the water industry.

The board meets four times a year and is responsible for overseeing Waterwise's activities and its strategic direction. Individual Board members also take a specific interest in aspects of the business, from technical to fiscal and PR to HR.

The composition of the Board was designed to reflect the interests of Waterwise's stakeholders and areas of activity and individual Board members were chosen for their expertise and specialist knowledge.
