Waterwise 2007 Conference – The Economics of Water Efficiency in the Natural and Built Environment Print

Key speakers from a wide spectrum of stakeholders in the water sector presented positive ideas on how water efficiency should build on the significant progress made, stimulated by recent activity particularly though the Government’s Water Saving Group.

Throughout the conference, Waterwise Marque recipients and product display stand delegates mixed with water efficiency activists and planners. Waterwise and B&Q have teamed up to launch a new water efficiency campaign. Dave Elliot, Seasonal Director at B&Q, Gold Sponsor of the event, addressed the delegates at the pre-conference dinner confirming his company’s commitment to sustainable development.

He said that working with Waterwise allows B&Q to extend their range of products and give consumers choice and they will be “looking at anything else we can do to improve water efficiency and reduce wastage”.
