Lowaters Nursery

Lowaters Nursery won in the Farming and Horticulture category at the UK Water Efficiency Awards 2012 The awards are run by The Environment Agency and Waterwise and the winners demonstrate the creative and practical ways in which organisations are cutting water consumption. 

Lowaters Nursery in Southampton is no longer reliant on mains water to irrigate its plants. This has been achieved through a 7m litre reservoir, rainwater capture and a clean water storage and pumping system. The nursery has gone from using 17,000 cubic metres of water to almost nothing, saving at least £20,000 a year.

Blue Sky Inc.

Director Ben Mills produced this short film for the Intelligent Use of Water film competition 2012, for which it is a finalist. Waterwise helped on some aspects of the production, including with the water-saving messages.

Gabi H20

GabiH2O and Nickelodeon UK partner to develop UK's first animated content for TV teaching children to be smarter about water. Waterwise helped GabiH2O develop the water saving messages. So it's not just fun, it's underpinned by carefully researched facts and figures too.

Gabi recently won a UK Water Efficiency Award in the Campaigns & Education category.

Water Maniac Walter

The European Commission's Water Maniac Walter, a neurotic bucket who addresses the theme of excessive water use. part of the Generation Awake! campaign, which alerts consumers to the dangers of unsustainable patterns of consumption.
