UN Drop by Drop
Drop by Drop
Waterwise is proud to support the Future We Want-Drop by Drop programme - an initiative for designers who can inspire people to use water wisely. The competition, the third of its kind, was created to inspire everyone to preserve water, now and for future generations.
Over 3500 ads from 45 European countries were received in the first stage. Thirty ads from 17 countries have now been selected as finalists.
The winning ad will be selected by a jury of experts presided over by Jacques Séguéla, the veteran French advertising guru. The announcement will be made on 5 June.
The first prize, the Nordic Council of Ministers Award of 5.000 euros will be handed over at a ceremony in Copenhagen on 5 June by Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark.

The winner and the finalists will be published in major European newspapers and exhibited all over the world.
The European ad competition is part of The Future We Want, the UN's global campaign leading up to the Rio+20 Conference in June 2012.
Drop by Drop is an initiative of the UN Regional Information Centre (UNRIC), in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centres across Europe and in partnership with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
