Ryan Millar

Communications Manager

Ryan holds an MA in Professional Writing from London Metropolitan University, and a BA in Communications and a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development both from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver Canada, where he’s from. On his way to London Ryan has lived in Amsterdam, Brussels and Rome, with a brief stint in Hawaii along the way. Before becoming a communications manager he has worked as a copywriter, journalist, aquarium naturalist, comedian and educational-video host. He is also an award-winning playwright.

Responsibilities: Ryan is responsible for: coordinating communications campaigns; developing the look, feel and content of Waterwise publications; and liaising with many of our partners on projects. He also writes and edits our monthly newsletter, annual report and keeps the website and Twitter feed updated.
