Nicci Russell

Policy Director

Nicci’s background is in government and policy. She studied politics at Trinity College, Cambridge. Nicci worked for backbench MPs and then for 11 years for Rt Hon Margaret Beckett MP, previously Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Foreign Secretary. Between 2001 and 2005 Nicci was Margaret Beckett’s Special Adviser at Defra. She was formerly a member of Westminster City Council.

Nicci co-founded Waterwise in 2005.

Responsibilities: Nicci leads Waterwise's work with policy and regulators across the UK.
