At Waterwise’s annual water efficiency conference in Oxford last week the leading voices in the water sector met to discuss how to help all of us waste less water.

There’s more than one way to wash a car, and Waterwise suggests that however people wash (hosepipe, bucket, waterless cleaning system, etc.) they make sure they’re not wasting any of this precious resource.


Value water, value life, on World Water Day
March 22 is World Water Day. Waterwise has teamed up with UK water companies, Hippo the Watersaver, and Save-a-Flush to encourage people in the UK to reflect on the value of their tap water and make a difference to those abroad who lack access to clean water

6th Saving Water in Scotland Network Roundtable

Fairness on tap
Fairness on Tap is a coalition calling for government should set out a strategy to install water meters in at least the 80% of England where there is greatest pressure on the freshwater environment and people's pockets by 2020. This must be supported by fair tariffs to make water bills affordable for everyone and help to reduce water waste and protect the freshwater environment.
