Ideal standard with the help of Waterwise has unearthed some interesting results about how trends are changing surrounding showering. The survey found that Brits prefer a shower to a bath, with almost a quarter never having a bath!

Interestingly there was a big gap between how much water people think they use and and what they actually use, on average people estimated they use 46 litres a day but it is actually around 150 litres per day!

Waterwises Jacob Tompkins commented about the survey saying ‘The UK has less water per person than places like Spain, and London gets the same rainfall as Jerusalem, at the same time heating water is a quarter of peoples energy bills and water bills themselves are rising. People need to be aware that saving water is not only good for the environment but their wallets too’
