Waterwise attended the Government's drought summit on 20 February. Read through

The meeting was productive in that it highlighted the importance of joint working to deliver long-term water efficiency messages alongside short term drought messaging.

It reinforced the Government's commitment to environmental protection whilst ensuring the resilience of water supply, food production and power generation.

Obviously, as water supplies continue to be threatened by the lack of rain, a concerted effort on behalf of stakeholders will be required in order to ensure the long-term safety of our water supplies and way of life. 

Waterwise is committed to working with all parties to promote water efficiency and help safeguard our water supply.
