Guide to the BMA's Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association, the trade body representing manufacturers in the UK, launched in September 2007 a voluntary water efficient product labeling scheme – open to all who trade in the UK bathroom market, aimed at raising awareness of the availability of bathroom products that when used correctly will use less water. A database of registered products has already over 630 products from 20 companies and is steadily growing. In September 2009 Phase II was launched. Phase II includes an enhancement of the 5 categories to 7, with the inclusion of shower handsets and grey water recycling systems, supporting elements, retail stockists database, scheme partners and supporting point of sale material.  Phase II also includes a refreshed and interactive web site, take a look at the new site.
